Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

The Lake District has been the inspirations for many poets and when you experience its many moods, it is not surprising.

When you see the mist rising from the water and battling for supremacy over the awakening sun, it is easy to imagine how poets would have been inspired to record it in verse.

This poetic spot was on the edge of the River Derwent as it flows towards Keswick. I really liked how the tree was just beginning to light up with the early morning sunshine.

Many thanks for stopping by, Bev :-)
