Photographer’s Note
Last of my scanned slides for a bit. This one was taken in the lake district late autumn on one of those crystal clear warm days ideal for walking the fells.
I've had to use the 'blur' tool in Photoshop to hide some of the graininess in the shadows that appeared in the slide scan.

Great shot Jonathan. I hope to visit the beautiful Lake District one day.

great colors from a great place. pity no details preserved on the dark areas. those black space could add value. why don't you try NeatImage some day instead of a blur filter. might do the same job while preserving some sharpness. see my workshop where apart from alternative cropping I tried NI on a quite small picture. I hope you will like it

Nice shot! Agree with Nottinghill about the dark areas and NeatImage. I also think that I'd be tempted to rotate it a little, try somewhere around 2.45°CCW and see what you think. Finally I think there's more fine detail here than this version is showing us - try a little more sharpening, and see what you can find! Well captured :-D

This shot is so mysteroious, it looks kind of like a dream world, or a scene from a movie! The colours are brilliant, but i agree about the dark areas, you've captured something magnificant here Jonathan.
