A picture taken with my old camera, Cannon S 10, this have to few pixels, but it’s lovely if not to use.
This photo you see is taken in Newquay, a very busy and fine resort in Cornwall. It's a typical English resort with only a few people from other countries. What you see on the picture is Pentire Point view from Newquay.
The beach behind it, at the end of the river Gannel's Estuary, offers a broad expanse of low-tide sand
During our stay over there we saw this beautiful bay and we couldn't resist to take some photos of it. We took place at the edge of the rugged beachhead and enjoyed the lovely view of the afforest rock - the "Island" they called it over there.

I like the scale of this shot, John - with the specks of 'people' on the sand and the buildings at the top of the cliffs. Good colours, details and framing. Well done.

Belle réussite John!

Jump, jump en wij zijn zo in Engeland. :-)
Zeer mooi lanseascape John. Goed genomen, erg diep en zand-zee kleuren zijn prachtig. Wij houden van soortgelijke scenes, blijkbaar.

Hi John, even though you have taken it with your old camera it is wonderful. The coastline disappearing in the distance is very good. The foreground is interesting to look at. I like it.

Nice scenic view of the cliff face and the sea. Like the fact that the exposure is good inspite of the time of the day and an old camera. Maybe you can touch up the sky a bit to give it a richer shade of blue but only if you believe in such post pro. Else its fine this way too.

Cornwall ? ? ?
How nice to see this scene, I love England, (but never been to Conwall untill today...).
Great point of view, very nice panorama on the beach and surroundings, John !

Good shot with your old camera, John. A good perspective in this beach photo, with a nice diagonal between water and sand, and the rocks extending all the way to the horizon. I like how the small people scattered throughout the frame lend scale to the scene. Well captured in good colors.

A lovely beach scene. So clean and well lit. I think that I'll add some contrast and reduced some brightness. See my WS.
Well done, John.

what a lovely place, the people are so tiny here, I really like it, really well done with the composition and also the area taken is nice

Very nicely composed. The way the ledge moves out and out in steps is excellently used. Starting in darkness it goes back and out into light and then back and out again and again, reaching farther into the sea and disappearing more and more into the haze. It gives this very nice rhythm. The texture of the beach, so smooth and soft is an excellent contrast to the hard, rugged, rocks. And the blue of the sea is beautifully captured. Well done, John.

As suual John, you have demonstrated your technical expertise in color management. The different layers are well-distinguished by their colors, thus, there is more depth in the picture.

This is a surprise to find such a good beach in England. Well lit & composed.

Good evening John,
Fabulous beach between the mighty cliff and rocky terrain, the sand seems smoothed by waves on low tide, and sea flat as a plate.
Wonderful POV from high, and pleasent to watch.
Have a nice Ester weekend.
