Photographer's Note
Picturesque Trewey Watermill and the Wayside Museum in the little village of Zennor on the north coast of Cornwall, England. After 150 years of dereliction the mill was restored only a few years ago following severe flooding in the region. This little watermill produces good quality, organically grown stone-ground flour, which can be purchased on site. The Wayside Museum houses Cornish industrial machinery, relics, artefacts and information relating to the mining industry of the area and living conditions. Well worth a visit.

Hello Brian,
A very good capture of this interesting old watermill. The railing makes a fine lead-line, whilst the red coloured machine contrasts well with the surrounding greenery and nicely offsets the mill. Detail is very good indeed.

Hello Brian,
I've been a bit busy over the festive season, so my aplogies for not having been at all active on TE over that time! But may I wish you and all whom you love a Wonderful New Year!
This is a stunning photograph of this fine old watermill, extremely well composed with even the little iron railing making a fine "lead in" to the picture and with all elements perfectly placed in the frame. The old red painted rail truck is a splendid foreground feature too.
Gorgeous colours, perfect exposure, a lovely sky and stunning details and sharpness throughout.
An interesting note too - I hope you bought yourself some flour and went home and baked yourself a loaf - nothing quite like home-baked bread with lots of butter and homemade jam!
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Brian,
This kind of well maintained historical industrial sites you only find in Britain. I am surprised to see it is in Zennor, a place we visited on our walk along the South west coast path between Minehead and Poole (1015km in 8 summer holidays). Your picture is perfect: good composition, vivid colours and great details,
Greetings, Rudi

Hello Brian, a beautiful image here. A good angle on the shot that allowed you to get all those elements. A nice late summer/early autumn mood in the composition. I was talking to some friends the other day who were visiting London, if i'd ever go to the U.K. the countryside will be first on my list. Nice catch!
Regards!

Hello Brian
Good choice of a vertical format and well composed using the rule of thirds. Punchy light contrasts. Nice warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sky and red train cart or boxcar. Tfs!

Brian
Belle mise en image de cet ancien moulin restauré avec un beau cadrage vertical et une bonne lumière. J'aime aussi retrouver les traces de la vie passée dans ces musées régionaux.
Amicalement

Hello Brian
A well exposed and composed image that has sharpness and clarity from front to back. Technically very well done.
Yes Will did beat you to it yesterday. My only regret is that I was not allowed inside the Royal Ballet with Oli to see what it looked like from the inside.

Hi Brian,
The red wagon and the green bush certainly add strong colours to this picture. The background water-wheel and the museum building add interest. A well composed picture with attractive eye-catching details.
Kind regards

Hi Brian!
Seems a great example of restoration and also a good place to go and take the children to watch the flour being made!
I like your pov and composition. You give us a good idea of the place by including several nice elements! Colours are excellent!
