I took this from the harbour pier along the front of St. Mawes looking towards St.Mawes and Pendennis castles,Pendennis being on the other side of the river Fal.
I used an HDR effect filter in PaintShop Pro to lift the details in the rock.

This is a fine seaside view and the "HDR effect" filter you have used in your editing software certainly has had a beneficial effect on the foreground rocks which might otherwise not have appeared quite so interesting and full of lovely tones. I wonder if the same filter has also made the sky so interesting too?
I have no experience at all of PaintShop Pro but, from all accounts, it seems like a very good editing program - do you find it good?
The composition is good too though it might have been very slightly better to have "shifted up" a little to include the tops of the roofs on the right and lose the little bit of moss covered wall at bottom right. But the exposure, colours, details and sharpness are superb.

Excellent combination has created a very good background.

What a great perspective and composition. I really liked your idea of using the rocks as a FG. The patterns and textures on the surface of the rock are amazingly detailed and interesting. Thanks to your decision using a slight touch of HDR to improve the details. I also liked the juxtapositon of lovely seaside houses as a midground. The only thing that did not work for me is the yellow covered rock on the right corner of FG, it is very remarkable with its color and light and impairs the overall feel of the scene. I would just crop it. Thanks for sharing my friend. Have a nice WE.

beautiful seascape, I really like your framing and the colors, I might have lowered a little shooting time and increased the depth, great labor PP...
have a good sunday,
