Photographer’s Note
This to me is the quintessential English pastoral landscape, which I really miss now that I am living in the high desert in the US.
This shot was taken from the dappled shade looking into the sun. Robert (clic) advised that I needed to expose for highlights in the background, either while taking the shot or in pp. I have attempted to do so in pp.

Hi Joni,
there is one essential lesson I have learned at TE: If you can try to avoid a white sky! Try to imagine your beautiful photo with a blue sky. But nevertheless this is a great capture of the pastoral landscape full of depth. And the light is amazing.

Hello Joni. I like the perspective captured with the light cutting through the frame making excellent glow and contrast. The wooden fence and gate is just brilliant in keeping the depth. Well done and best regards. Jusni

This is one of my favorites in your collection - there is a frshness in the air (not often found here in Beijing). Your list as to what to do with the photo is interesting. I agree, but I started not doing this and simply resized the photo to fit TE's needs. Not I do the full list. I should have seen this early on :-)
