A serene scene from Sandymouth Beach on the North Cornwall coast.
The beach at Sandymouth is situated 3 miles to the north of Bude, near the Cornwall-Devon border. A large pebble beach owned by the National Trust, at low tide Sandymouth reveals large stretches of sand, from which the beach takes its' name, and numerous rock pools.
Backed by high cliffs, the beach is set in a secluded location. Though the waters around Sandymouth can be dangerous, it remains relatively popular for watersports, particularly surfing.

This view seems to offer many possibilities at different times of the day and different kinds of weather. These blue tones with a centre of orange and purple are quite breathtaking. Seeing this view and realizing the distance to the next shore makes me feel small.

a captivating picture of a scenery that looks desolate and fascinating, timeless and full of suggestion. I was surprised to read about the popularity of the beach, your composition gives the feeling that it is isloated an inaccessible. You are leading the viewer to focus on the contrast of the solid, timeless rocks and the constant movement of the sea. The silvery-bluish tones look ethereal and the golden tones are mesmerizing. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,

A really nice scene of this beach with the tide in and battering the rocks. This place must take on a completely different look when the tide goes out and reveals the sand. Nice composition with the pebble beach at the bottom running to the dark rocks making contrast to the lovely warm colours of the sky on the horizon .

You had the benefit of a deliciously sublimely lit sky when composing this image. The majestic cliffs make a great frame as we gaze toward the ocean, which presumably at this point continues without break to North America. Expertly exposed with very good colours and clarity.

J'aime beaucoup la construction de cette image. La très belle falaise sur la droite offre un beau cadre au soleil qui se couche dans la mer agitée. La douceur des teintes calme.

Now here is a beautiful pastel palette Les and the softness of the colours works well with the softly textures sea and sky. The pebbles and cliffs work harmoniously too with the greyness of the overall colour. Very attractive. Warm regards Rosemary

Finally the cliffs, as big, imposing and grey as I imagine them
Here well positioned as a kind of frame of a capture with soft colors at evening in shades of pale blue
