This picture was taken late afternoon on a visit to the coast in sunshine.
When it rains, the colour of these rocks glisten and are an example of much of the coastal rocks. in the Westcountry.

I really can't understand why I am the first to critique this beautiful composition. You have captured the detail and textures in these cliffs superbly. The image is agreeably lit and has excellent colours. I love the contrast offered by the green lichen(?) deposits. Fine photography.

Hello Gladys ,
What is inetersting in this kind of pisture , without scale , is that we can think that it is a huge mountain and a big casacade , even if it is only a little cliff and a tiny water fall . I suppose that the realty is closer from the second version .
Excellent framing , and superb détails and colors of the rocks .

What a super photo of these rocks and small waterfall.
Love the contrasting colours with the variation of greens, great greys from the rocks, to the lovely blue sky.
