November in Mevagissey is a very still and quiet village. My afternoon spent here, I witnessed 1 boat return from the sea, carrying crates of Sea Bass. This to was the only boat I saw move in the harbour, aside from the sway caused by the sea breeze & tide.
Still a great place to visit, and my pick of the places to see would be the shop 'Cloud Cuckoo Land' which sells all manner of collectibles and is a real treat.

Hi James, a real "picture postcard" of a lovely seaside town. It's especially nice now that the tourists aren't spoiling the view and the critical summer light has been replaced with a softer and more evn illumination. Great colours and composition. Paul.

Hello James. I like the colorful nature of this place. The boats on the foreground and the beautiful yet simple architecture on the background makes this picture a delight to see. Good job with the saturation and the whole perspective. Cheers.

This is a classical view of a nice seaside village with simple geometrical shapes. The boats add colour and a sense of movement in this lovely composition. Thanks for sharing, L.

Nice work! I like the colors and your POV. It looks like a peaceful place. Nice to see you use the same camera as I have and to get this result!

Excellent composition, the eye is constantly moving round the scene taking in all the details. The pastel shades of the cottages are so typical of these Cornish villages.Good idea to have the red yacht in the centre of your picture.Enjoy the rest of your day. best wishes Jean

Thank you for pointing me in this direction! Mevagissey does have a magic all of it's own, and I have also viewed it many times from the PoV shown in your picture. I have never been lucky enough to visit in November and I can see it looks no different then than in the summer months, just as atmospheric, just as beautiful. I do like this photo very much - you have certainly captured it very clearly, sharply and colourfully in all it's glory. Very best wishes, Vicky

A pleasant view from this well known harbour (on TE and beyond...) the arra of colorss displayed is pleasant and I appreciate the autumn light, strong enough to reveal them, but soft enough to remain in subtle tones, it's well framed as well, congratulations,
Have a nice evening,

Yes very different with the fisherman we have in indonesia. In here, it're really traditional boat, some just use paddle, and with a conventional way to catch fish.
Very good clarity of this wonderful with with a pleasant colours.

This is one of the picture that caresses the eye with good composition and beautiful color harmony (you owe some to the red boat in the foreground:=)
Great picture, kind regards

I've been there James. In Sept 1999, we had a wonderful holiday with my English cousin and her husband in Cornwall. And in 2 weeks time we are taking them on holiday to the Bay of Islands in the north of New Zealand.
We loved Cornwall and the architecture and colours of the buildings really captured my attention.
Excellent shot, it brings back many happy memories.

You asked me to visit your Cornish captures and they are excellent.
It is your last one that I think captures the area the best although they are all very well taken. This one is no exception.

Maybe a slight distorsion due to the wide angle but nice colors and light, enhanced by the "grey atmosphere". I like it !
