Photographer’s Note

St. Michael’s Mount in Marazion, pretty close to Penzance in Cornwall in the South west of UK is one of the must visit spots in Cornwall, if anyone's in the Penzance region.

The speciality of this Mount is the picturesque views that it offers of the sea around with the Greenish blue waters. The castle on top of the Mount is actually a private property still housing St.Aubyn family for the last 300 years (Just think of the amazing views the family have had for these long years!!) This is being maintained by the National Trust though.

Another most amazing feature of this place is the Granite pathway to the mount. Well, the beauty here is that people can walk from the shore to the mount, on this pathway when the tide is low, but people have to take a boat to reach there when the tide is high/medium.

So, when we reached there, we couldn't see the pathway as it was under the water and took a boat there and when we climbed up the steps...lo..we could see the pathway and walked on it to the shore on our way back. That’s the beauty!!
