Land's End is mainland Britain’s most south-westerly point. It is a real touristy destination with shops and restaurants. I was advised by our B&B host that there was nothing much to see there (probably because it had a strong tourist focus). However, we enjoyed a long walk along the cliff top walkway that starts at Greeb farm. I would recommend a visit.
Greeb farm has a collection of small animals, speciality shops and working craftsmen. It is apparently 200 years old and is representative of the farms that used to dot the Cornish coast.
The cat in the image seemed to own Greeb Farm. The tag hanging from its collar reads "LAND'S END CAT'. Despite rules about photos of pets I feel that it is a quite fitting image for TE; it is not just a photo of a pet.

So long as it's not your cat, I don't think there is a problem. This is a great capture. Beautifully exposed and with superb light and colours and pin sharpness. He looks as if he is about to jump out onto my desk! Excellent work.

You are quite right ... this is the Land's End Cat. It sounds as if there should be a children's book written about it!
You have done a fine job, here, showing the superior nature of the cat. I can well believe that it is in charge at the farm!
Your shot is very well composed, the focal cat, sharp and strongly placed, anchors the f/g and creates a great sense of depth to the interesting b/g.
Have a great day,

lots of happy memories from Lands End, it was the last holiday I had with my parents before my Mum died so is quite special, despite its over commercialism that has spoilt its atmosphere and uniqueness. Love this shot of this rather large moggy, you captured his/her air of aloofness and the setting so beautifully.

GREAT shot! Love the cat, love the photo. He is the Lord of the whatever, wherever the land in his mind. Believe it or not, I am (we are) the servant(s) for the cats. I didn't think that I was too stupid, but they are definitely clever than I am!:-D
Wonderful colour, and detail. You certainly captured the mood of the cat.
