There can be few places nicer than beside Bude Sea Pool for a late summer evening stroll.
Bude Sea Pool is a beautiful tidal swimming pool on the beach at this popular seaside town in North Cornwall. The Sea Pool is part-natural and part man-made. It was created in the 1930s under the cliffs on Summerleaze Beach, within easy strolling distance of the town centre, to provide safe bathing in sea water, but away from the dangerous currents in the bay. It is topped up at high tide by the Atlantic Ocean. The spacious Pool provides plenty of room for paddling or serious swimming: inflatables, snorkels surfboards and even scuba divers are welcome.
The Sea Pool is open throughout the year and is free for all to enjoy. Lifeguards are on duty at peak times. Children have to be accompanied at all times.

Ahh what a wonderful scene, I can't work out which is my favourite element, but in combination it really is a stunning photo. The reflections in the pool on the right are magnificent, as is the way you've framed the photo with the pathway leading the eye into and around the photo. The Rule of Thirds framing, giving so much room to the wonderful sky, completes the masterpiece superbly.
Stunning! Have a lovely weekend

a lesson in composition and light management this. So enticing and irresistible. The lines are so perfectly balanced but it is the sky and reflections here that make this so appealing and beautiful. Love it!
Have a great weekend - Brian.

So this pool can only be used at high tide, if I understand the term tidal pool correctly?
Anyway beautiful evening light that has created a sublime tranquil beach scene with lovely reflection of that gorgeous sky. The few scattered tiny humans add a nice touch too.
have a great day

I like the clever composition with the path leading the eye to the sun on the horizon and the little bridge and people. The colours are lovely, especially in the pool. Gorgeous clouds.

I missed this one Les and it's a fine composition and lovely atmospheric shot. Sublime gentle light paints the sky and reflects off the water. The land and sea pool give good structure here. Nicely done Warm regards rosemary

Like the well composed, clever capture, a true lesson of it
It was taken just at the right moment with the going sun giving such a magical light reflected on the cloud that reflect on the sea
Nice place to stool and take photos, well done
After reading Rosamund Pilcher's books I believe the coat of Cornwall was all with cliffs, now I know

The sky is magnificent here and you got nice reflections on the pool. I like the composition. The place looks so calm at the end of the day, with just a few people around, enjoying the sunset.
