Well I just took this photo and am really quite happy with it. It was taken at Golitha Falls, just outside St Neot, Nr Bodmin. To my eye it has quite a peacful feel to it so I thought I would share it with you all to see what you think? It was taken a couple of hours ago, at about 11:30 so the lighting was a bit harsh but after getting up at 5 this morning to shoot the sunrise and seeing nothing but clouds thats not really a compaint! I used an ND4 filter to help slow the shutter a bit to get the silk sheen on the water and my left hand as a make shift lens hood to stop the massive lens flare. Shot as a jpg and not touched in Photoshop. I like it for the green water. Enjoy
Tom
Carlos, good question and well done for reminding me. I also used a polariser filer on this shot, and it was the polariser that managed to give me this green water, i supposed by cutting everything but the reflected green from the tree leaves above. |

Hi Tom!
Can you explain me why the water has no tree or sky reflection?

It looks like something out of a fairytail.
I think a tripod could have helped here, but your creative use of your hand is perfect.
Take care,
KellEy
