Photographer’s Note
There were a fair number of impressive family graves in the grounds, some very ornately surrounded by gates, but this one caught my eye, he was probably just a poor villageman with little money.
It was tucked away at the very back of the church, only the pool of light caught my attention. Note how the writing is in Olde English, where S's were written as F's.

Interesting framing, with the stone to the left and the leaves in front. I wish the sunlight hadn't blown out over to the right (this is keeping me from the big greeny face), but I like the image. It has a definite mood.

Very nice simple composition and framing...The "spot" of light is ok with me...

The bright spot draws the eye from the stone to.... nothing? It has some mood and the story is nice, but the stone and the spot have no apparant connection. I like the frame of green round the stone, perhaps i would have stressed that if this was possible.

Its a nice shot Mike, but the spot of light does draw the eye away to nothing.
