Taken in the early evening as we took a stroll along the Canal in Macclesfield. I tried to use the perspective to lead the eye into the image and the boat as point of interest.

Hi Simon. A lovely scene full of country charm. Nice composition gives a sense of space and of a journey that is leisurely and significant. Well done with the light and reflections. Regards. Klaudio

Bonjour Simon,
Une belle carte postale (sans rien de péjoratif dans mes propos). Les parties sombres sont bien lisibles. On aimerait connaître les conditions de prise vue. Merci.
Gérard
Hi Simon
Nice shot, in my view you achieved what you set out to do the path and the canal lead you right into the picture, you have also got some good reflections in the water, well done.
Regards Irene
welcome aboard Simon , you are off to a great start . This photograph is well framed and I like the reflection of the sky in the water.
in my humble opinion, it could be a little sharper . Jim
Your composition is lovely, all the elements you have strived to get in the shot come together well and create a very pleasing, tranquil shot. I agree it needs a little sharpening though.
