Photographer's Note

Baling the straw from wheat, this is done by specific contractors as the baling machines are hugely expensive and sometimes the stones in the soil flick up and make a spark that sets the straw alight. I have seen some very large fields go up in flames as well as the machinery.
These evening lazy golden days of summer have now truly slipped away and the cold evening darkness decends much earlier and frosty mornings are biting their way in as the sun rises.
