neon nights, a photo from Bristol, England

Here's another I took in my recent night shots around Bristol... I wasn't completely convinced by this shot. But I liked it better than most of my other "light trail" shots. For me it's the neon colours.

This is in Bristol City Centre. The bus is heading towards At Bristol, on the left of the lights is the harbourside and that big purple lit building is a major hotel. Though this shot is fairly quiet from people, on a normal friday/saturday night the streets are teeming with people.

I really really really like this picture. The colours from the lights are very beautiful. I can't believe that the colours of the traffic lights match the colours of the lights coming from the vehicles passing by.
However, above all, I like the confusion generated from your POV and playing of lights. I always beleive that there is harmony in chaos.

Hi,

I like the combination of light and "ghosts" very much. It's funny how the traffic light on the right doesn't show "red" because the bus was in front of it. Great shot with excellent quality. TFS

Hello Leilani,

I like a lot this hot because of the atmosphere. Mainly it is due to the ghost effect left by the bus.
The exposure is well controled with no burnt area and the composition is well equilibrated in the frame.
Moreover, there is a nice game between the colors.

Hi Leilani - very dynamic. The ghosting in the bus is superb. Bright lights, good detail, and an interesting composition with one road up and one road down. Hope you not stressed anymore! Casper :)

I am convinced! This is so full of colors and live, even with quiet mood, it bristles and I can well imagine it on weekends, hope you're going to shoot one then too! One doesn't quite know where it starts, where it ends, it's somehow also an oniric image, you achieved the lovely star effect, and that blue is just plain gorgeous. Great light management, sharpness and compo; never done something like this, I like it very very much. Classy!

this is perfect night shot. I love the multitude of light information in it. They create special ambient, a surreal scene from one's dream, full of vividness and action. It's empty but it's full. Very vibrant, very fresh, very unique. My compliments for this most aestethic shot!

Excellent shot this is Leilani. I thought you had at first done a multiple exposure. The image has a kind of ghostly look to it what with the bus seeming still at some stage. Really impressive, especially the colours.

This is very cool Leilani

The electric blues are fantastic in this shot coupled with the red tail lights. That ghosted affect on the bus is really good as well. Great sharpness all round on the image.

So i understand why you just commented a picture of me : to attract me in your gallery and see that one, isn't it ;)
A pleasure for to discover it and be sure i love it, all those lights trails, everywhere, most part of them in red (i told you), red green of the light traffic, stars effect, its an explosion of colors !!
