Photographer’s Note
I was so inspired by Paul's (rushfan2012) Curvy Bench I thought I'd go and try to recreate it myself. However, when I was there I just couldn't do it!! I've decided he must be about 6 foot 5 to have gotten the shot! For the life of me I just couldn't get the same angle. So I decided to try and get a different pov of it instead. Not as good, but I'll crack it at some point ;)
I had to compress this shot down to 87% to get it under 200k.

Hi Leilani,
Looks like you had to be quite tall to get this one too, though maybe you stood on the end of the bench. I particularly like your composition, the way the bench curves through the picture and draws your gaze in while at the same time framing its own shadow. The B&W works very well here and the tilt creates a pleasant floating effect.
I always think it's interesting that two photographers put in the same place will invariably come out with totally different but equally valid results!

Hi Leilani, I'm getting a vertigo from this shot :>, very good choice of perspective and use of light and shadows. I'd like to car in background to drive away but overall I like it, very creative. Thanks for sharing...

I like the unusual angle that you have chosen, and the use of B&W has been very effective.

What a fantastic perspective Leilani. I am glad you caught the car in the corner as it adds to the scale of the shot. The shadows from and shine off the bench are all very pleasing. You really caught the light right.
Good stuff! Casper

Hi Leilani, i like the way you use the urban line on this image. B&W gibes more 'body' to your composition. Good work.

Hi Leilani, i like that shot, a good use of BW and of course this play with curves and shadow, i first thought the car was distracting but i read your answer to casperduppy and so why not ! :)
The light was very good for photography and you used it well with this composition
A good one :)

Prefer this one to Paul's Leilani, it has more dynamism to it as well as being in b&w. Like the tilt and shadows. It also looks good vertical.
