Photographer’s Note
Taken in Windsor Great Park early on an autumn morning. The Park was for many years the private hunting ground of Windsor Castle. It is now largely open to the public and includes a large deer enclosure. Windsor Castle is the favoured weekend residence of the current monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. Incidentally, I walked straight past the Queen that morning. Her Majesty was driving a car down the Long Walk, a private roadway which cuts through the Park.

Hi Chris,
The deer's silhouette is just so perfect. An excellent composition with lovely colours, very natural, yet with a touch of magic to it. Fantastic, this picture couldn't have been better...even if it had the Queen in it!
