Photographer’s Note

While on the Long Walk near Windsor Castle, planes were flying over on their final approach for London Heathrow. This is exactly the spot where most planes would get their landing gear out. On this sunny day, a large shadow would glide over the ground.

Hi Boris,

unfortunately for me this doesnt quite work. The light is just too much, the plane just too washed out by it.

This is very nice Boris. I think that it is a little to bright, not contrastic enough. The colors are not strong enough, maybe it would be better in BW?

Flying Airliners are one of my favourite subjects for taking pix.. I have allowed myself to put your photo to my theme Flying Birds... I really like the tension and drama in this shot.. best regards Tomas
