Photographer’s Note
Windsor Castle -
While my husband and I were waiting in line to view the Queen Mary exhibit a group of English School Girls came on to the battlements of the castle and were wondering around. It looked like they all had school assignments regarding the architecture of the castle. This one litttle girl walked off by herself and began studying the upper floors of the castle and I captured this image while she was deep in thought. I have always wondered what the assignment was and what had grabbed her undivided attention.

nice image, it has spirit of old british books, at least it's how I imagine it :)
What is not perfect though is the background - this hole in the wall is too close to her head, there's some nasty shadow on the right side.
Also her head splits the picture into two exact (size) halves, just in the middle - i think that cropping out a little bit of the top would help here.

Nice shot. Her exression, and the note book she is carrying tells us that she really has a inquisitive mind.

Hello Joanne,
It did not know you were also on TE, how nice ;-)
But seeing your three pictures i also see you are not that active. But you should, because you have a good eye for composition and pushing the button on the right moment. The way this girl looks is wonderful, a bit in doubt, not knowing what to do. A lovely face expression.
There's only one thing what worries me...also you are in the other (Nikon) camp....what a shame ;-)
