Photographer's Note
Luton War Memorial, remeberance day. This young sea cadet had to stand to attention for a very long time and eventually fainted. He colapsed and lay there for quite a few seconds. He was helped to his feet and the proceedings continued. I'm a pacafist and disagree with war, but have the utmost respect for men and women who have and continue to put thier lives at risk in the hope of peace. Peace will not be found at the end of a gun, and the sooner we all see that the sooner the killing will stop.
Have a peacefull new year, Ben

Très belle gestion de la profondeur de champ et de l'exposition. Le tirage un peu surexposé est très réussi.

Oddly, from the thumbnail, I had read what turned out to be a cadet as being a parking meter! I had therefore assumed that the shadowy figure on the left of frame was a traffic warden, and was intrigued to see how this all tied up with your title "we will remember them".
Mmmmmm.
Regards
