This sunset was captured from the ridge of the Eastern Bieszczady Mountains. At that place we put up our tents and spent night during two-days trekking from the village of Uzok to the Pikuj Peak (1405 m. above sea level).

We placed the tents at the center of the ridge that made us visible from kilometers – and that was wrong. Some two hours later two guys of the Ukrainian border guard checked us and ordered to pack up our stuff and go down with them due to lacking of some stamps on emigration cards. After a long discussion and finally giving the guys some bribe, they left us free on the Pikuj range. A lesson has been taken – better find a little bit more hidden spots for the night.
