Sea of mountains Photo

Photographer’s Note

I took this picture from a Stoh (1679 metres over sea level), highest peak of the Polonina Borzawa mountains. The sky was extremely clear that day, I don`t remember when I`ve got last time as good weather as at Polonina Borzawa. It was hard to believe for me but during sunset I saw Tatras mountains, about 250km. from Borzawa.
The building that you can see on this picture is a part of ruins of Soviet radar base situated at Stoh.

it would have been amazing if you would have cropppd out that hill you are standing on. it does look like a sea of hills. very nice shot.

Beautiful layered mountains in the background, you have done very well here. Did you think about cropping out the bottom section of foreground grass?

The multitude of layers is excellent and gives the impression of an aquarell painting. You managed the light extremely well when you pointed your camera against the sun. The tilt to the left bothered me at the first moment, but th elonger I looked at this picture it started to make sense.

It must have been a great walk that day and you captured the moment well. I agree that cropping the bottom would improve the image even more.
