Welcome to TE, Damien.
The subject is intriguing and the photo has its merits, but I think you could do much better, as like it is it doesn't look much atractive.
Maybe enphasize the sacs, correcting the tilt, not using that sepia, which doesn't seem to apropriate here...
A note would be nice also, as it's kind of almost irritating not satisfying our curiousity on the subject.

i think indeed serpia is appropriate here, and i normally don't like it. it is an odd and funny picture, well done.
