Photographer’s Note

A cable bridge for liquid ammonia pipeline shot from the top of a supporting tower. The Dnipro river is nearly 2km wide here.

You are a much braver man than me to be that high up and still have a hand free to use a camera!!!
Very powerful image. I love the strong diagonals and the way they converge on the roadway beneath and carry the eye to the far shore. Good work.

Great POV it's impressive, I wouldn't dare to go there to take a picture. It makes a strange but good composition. Maybe you should try to post-process it with NeatImage or some similar software to increase the sharpness.

A great photo.

My first thought in looking at the title was that it was symbolic of the ammonia molecule, which has a central nitrogen atom with three bonded hydrogens reaching out like the three bold lines in the photo.

Very interesting and very rare picture, but... why on earth are they transporting ammonia over an exposed pipeline, over such an important river??? This looks to me like an accident begging to happen.
