Dnepr under ice Photo

Photographer’s Note

The view over Dnepr river as ice is breaking and going down into Black Sea.
The bridge in front is old Railway bridge (built in 50s, still in use). Just behind it a new bridge (unofficially named after Mr. Kirpa, late minister of transportation) is being constructed.

The cool thing about moving ice is absolutely unique, special sound of 'ice grindhouse' :)

Hello Igor, almost a b/w shot but not quite!It conveys a strong feeling of the cold you must have been experiencing.
Good perspective with the arches disappearing into the distance.
I cannot imagine the sound of the ice as you describe.
