Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko (Ukrainian: Тарáс Григóрович Шевчéнко)1814 –1861 was a Ukrainian poet, artist and humanist. His literary heritage is regarded to be the foundation of modern Ukrainian literature and, to a large extent, the modern Ukrainian language. Shevchenko also wrote in Russian and left many masterpieces as a painter and an illustrator.

Hello Michal,
A very impressive statue/monument with a good note.
Focus is good, but maybe a little lighter to see the features better.
He is remembered well in your country, by the nice flowers.
