Photographer’s Note
Reporting of ELECTION MEETING. Lviv. 10. 10. 04
Ukraine’s Presidential contender Victor Ushchenko arrived in Lviv from Austria, where he was treated for poisoning.
Austrian doctors treating Yushchenko in which they suspected that biological weapons were applied to him…
Look at these faces, and you will see a lot of hope & expectation for better times.

This is a great idea, and a great compo (that would also work well as photojournalism), ubt I don't see the pointof including all that (if any) sky. It's the crowd that's the thing. The two raised hands in the foreground make the shot for me. I'll try a WS.

Fantastic picture! Its so full or life, and "hope" like you mentioned, in everyone's face, waiting for that moment of truth. Its like a shot from a National geographic magazine! Good job :)

Good eye, Yuriy! Without the hands in the foreground, it would just be too undescript a mass rally, but they show the excitement of the moment as much as the expected stances on the face. Bravo!
Your 2 last pix make me very curious and interested about Victor Ushchenko. I have to google his name and find out.
