Photographer’s Note
The heart of Kiev, where most important things happen in life of Ukraine and of course well known Orange Revolution in 2004... it is also most popular place for tourists and locals. Being on Kreschityk (actually it is Independence square)you won't miss a tall column with a golden statue on it - symbol of Independent Ukraine. On this picture I gathered the bottom of it... liked the shape and golden details of it. It was installed during a major renovation (2001) of the square ordered by former mayor of Kiev to prevent following mass protest campaigns against that time's president.
