On a cloudy morning of the Ukrainian Independent's Day, visited the Navodnytsky Park next to the River Dineper. since there was no sun light came out, i choose low angle to take this monument photo. PS little bit. hope you like it.

Kiy, Kij or Kyj), Schek and Khoryv (Ukrainian: Кий, Щек, Хорив) are the three legendary brothers, sometimes mentioned along with their sister Lybid (Lybed) (Ukrainian: Либідь), who, according to the Primary Chronicle, were the founders of Kiev (Kyiv) city - now the capital of Ukraine. The legend is widely recognized as a source of Kiev's mythology and urban naming. (from Wiktionary.com)

The statue looks like flying in fumes!
With the light and dramatic clouds and your effective crop, you gave the heroic feeling even stronger. Good presentation of this statue!

The silhouetted monument looks dramatic beside the thick grey clouds. The pink light coming through works well as does the small break in the clouds. Tfs, Marlene
