Photographer’s Note
Church of Saint-Cyril in some neighbourhood of Kiev. The church was once the epicenter of a monastery founded in the 12th century, before the city was destroyed by the Mongols. The church survived somehow and retained most of the original interior. The exterior, by contrast, has been altered by restoration works carried out throughout the centuries.
