Photographer’s Note
After the enormous dinner everyone was very happy to pose for pictures. The family which greeted us on our arrival in the village of Sokoliwka and welcomed us with this enormous feast turned out to be our own. Going into this trip we didn't even know we had anyone left in the "old sod". There was even a kitten named Linda. "Linda??" we asked. (Not exactly a typical Ukrainian name.) After Dynasty's Linda Evans, believe it or not. Is the world ridiculously small, or what?

Hi Daria. I love this photo because it is "real." It looks like a family photo. But I must ask - were these folks really happy to pose for pictures? They don't look like it!
