In the Hutsul’s Verchovyna region (Southern Ukraine) local roads are worse than bad. During heavy snowfalls or rains you can reach some remote villages only by old big Soviet trucks. There’s no other way. That’s why people care about their trucks so much. One of these places is the village of Bystriec at the foot of the Czarnohora Mountains.

I think its a very god movement in this picture, its a nice portrait of man & machine where the landscape is there but not taking over.

I really like this photo, it shows the man with his companion just like a shepherd would look after his dog or a cowboy would look after his horse, brilliant!
