Photographer’s Note
Reflections in a door at Chernivtti´s central square.
Chernivtsi as the capital of the "Kronland Bukowina" used to be the most eastern outpost of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and still today you find there a lot of architecture dating back to this period. After World War One it was part of Romania, and after World War Two it became part of the Soviet Union, and since 1991 it is capital of the Chernivetska Oblast of the independent Ukraine.
Great place - great people.
