Photographer’s Note
A real contemporary cave house; it is sitting right across the St.Uspensky live and active cave monastery near town of Bakhchisarai.
More to the right you can spot another smaller cave-hut. There's many more of them all around the monastery area. People say it is pretty nice inside : temperature is around 18C all the time.
It really feels like a contemporary stone age there - you find a cave, you build a wall, chop a door and a window in it - voila! monks are ready to move in!!

Hi Kateryna,
A very interesting place and well made picture! I have not known that in Ukraine there are such cave houses as in Cappadocia. Thanks for information! The note is rather detailed and informative.
