Photographer’s Note
Near Sevastopol, in the foreground the ancient Greek Ruins of Chersonesos, and in the back on the hill the recently reconstructed Prince Volodymyr Cathedral. The site marks the place of the coming of Christianity to the area, and the launching of the Russian Orthodox Church with the Baptism on this site of Volodymyr the Great in 989 AD.

I know that Ukraine is not that far from Greece but for me it is a surprise to see those Greek ruins. I did not realise that the Greeks were there towards the Black Sea. Thanks for the history lesson.
For the picture, it is excellent with a nice perspective of the two sites with matching marble colours. Well done.
