Photographer’s Note
Chersonesos was an ancient Greek colony founded approximately 2500 years ago in the southwestern part of the Crimea, known then as the Taurica. The colony was established in the 6th century BC by settlers from Heraclea Pontica.
The ancient city is located on the shore of the Black Sea at the outskirts of Sevastopol.
The ruins were excavated by the Russian government from 1827. They are today a popular tourist attraction, protected by the state as an archaeological park.
The buildings mix influences of Greek, Roman and Byzantine culture.
On this picture You can see the defensive wall which is hundreds of meters long. Buildings include Roman amphitheatre and a Greek temple.
The weather was excellent :) I recommend Crimea for a holidays!

A little over saturated imo. but i like the view through the rock. you can clean up the noise and needs more sharpness

Hi Patryk,
An excellent PoV and idea, I like this, the church popping through the hole get interest presented this way as it's original. There is noise on this photo resulting from the scan I tried a small WS for it.
Have a nice sunday,
JY

Hi Patryk,
Pleasant idea to show a building thru a old wall. The set is interesting. I tried to show mainly the building, reducing also the importance of the wall in WS.

Bonjour Patryk ,
Nice well framed view , a bit oversaturated(for my taste ...) , A good shot not too altered
by scanning .
Nice note too ...
