| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the first shot posted from my trip to Crimea Peninsula in Ukraine.
This shot was taken from plateau of Mount Ai-Petri, elegantly blue and twin-peaked, stands in all of its glory, oblivious of the flow of time.
It is necessary to describe the unique location called Ai-Petri, as it is unusual in shape. The top of Ai-Petri is both flat with a large triangular peak on one side of the plateau with an altitude of 1,234 meters (4,000 feet) above sea level.
The word of Ai-Petri encloses both the plateau and the triangular peak of the mountain and they are not far apart. The plateau in several places reaches an altitude of 1,200 to 1250 meters 3,900 - 4,100 feet). |

Hi Dan,
I'm glad you are back after a short break -- I already missed your photos of Moldova. Well, this one is not from Moldova, but I believe you will be able to show us Ukraine very well too. Nice introduction today. I look forward to other photos from your trip.
Have a nice evening,
Marek

The blues are always so vivid in your photos - I was thinking before that this is just typical for Moldova. Seems it's Crimea, too!
