Photographer’s Note

In December 2006 «Karavan» LLC opened the first line of the new trade and leisure center «Karavan-Kharkiv» with the total area of 85 600 sq.m. Also, in the year 2007 the second and third lines were opened, which consist of construction hypermarket, household hypermarket and entertainment area. Entertainment area in the trade and leisure centre in Kharkiv includes bowling club, cinema, skating ring and restaurants.
In a little cafe people can rest, have a cup of tea and watch the dance of water which draws everybody's attention.

Excelent shot, greatly composed with an excellent POV. Those curves give a beautiful graphic result, the depth of field is great and so is the ligth managment under dificult conditions! Congratulations!

Hi Karina, i will be franck, this one is not at the level of the other pictures i've seen from you. I notice you seem interested in graphical shots as you use the water to make a reflexion, that's a good point and i'm sure browsing TE and watching a lot of picture will develop your sense of compo. But there there are too much things to watch, nothing that carry the compo and fix the eyes ... my eyes keep rolling without stopping on a special subject ... Perhaps a little bit too much sharpness too and a little bit too much light.
I hope you won't take it too bad but we are here too learn and i bring you my perception on this one.
Keep on anyway !

an interesting mall observation: the ceiling decors and their reflections almost looking lik migrating birds. nice long exposure fountian capture too. the composition is a tad too busy or my taste but interesting nonetheless. thanks for sharing.

Карина, просто отличнейшая фотография.
очень красиво и легко.
не могу согласиться с комментариями по поводу недостатка композиции: в молле и тка ни на чем ненадо останавливать взгляд, молл и должен быть немного перегружен деталями. все правильно передано. суетность магазина отходит на второй план при взгляде на изящность линий воды.
Как удержала камеру на 1/2сек? штатив?

Very interesting, as this photo has been taken in Ukraine... The group of women on the left is great to observe (having kept their winter clothes inside) and the reflection creates a great effect.

Hello Karina,

You got a great idea to use a long exposure for this shot which is very strange at the first look, the time we are understanding that we are in fact looking to water spray.
