Photographer’s Note
There is no exact translation for Russian word "gopnik". Most close meaning is "very aggressive and very stupid person from lowest social categories, who don't want to work and wishes only to scuffle and drink vodka", something like "white trash".
This huge monument to Bolshevik leader nicknamed Artyom (real name was Fyodor Sergeyev) stays on a high hill over river Seversky Donets near a small resort town Svyatogorsk in Donetsk region. That guy was one of Communist chiefs of East-Ukrainian region during the Civil War and establishing of the Soviet Power.
This monument is built in 1926. It is really beautiful in its rudeness :)) You can see large squared fists which are ready to beat everybody who is not agreed with Communist ideals. By the way, it is visible from other point of view that his head is empty :)

Очень люблю песню "Гопники" Майка Науменко. Там очень точные характеристики.Как-то у него штанина подозрительно оттягивается. Там наверное маузер?
Have a happy weekend!
