I have prepared this picture some time ago, in fact it is a panorama inluding an assembly of 22 pictures. You can see the view that you can have from the top after you have climbed the 365 steps of the tower of the cathedrale St Nicolas of Fribourg. You can see the cathedrale on the picture of gbac and phl.
The biggest problem was that from the top, you cannot make a simple rotation to have the 360° panorama. There are some small tower (refer to the workshop) that close the view. You have to move to another place to see it. I have made 8 moves. So the connection of the picture not taken from the same place was quite difficult. There are still some problem inside the picture. But now I have spend enough time, and I will present to you this assembly. You can see the beautiful view taht we can have... I hoppe you like it.

Je suis membre de TE depuis aujourd'hui et je vois que je ne suis pas le seul fribourgeois ici! Ca réchauffe le coeur!

A wonderful - and funny - panorama, Jacques. And you've done an enormous work stitching these 22 pictures together. So I really understand that you want to say "enough is enough", although some problems might remain inside the image. Anyhow there's nothing very obvious and I think it's amazing how you've been able to do it, despite the fact that you had to move eight times. Very well done!

I have made one panorama - a stitching of two, which is my level - that I'll show later.

I think this is an excellent panoramic shot, Jacques. Considering the fact that it has been made from 22 images, I still can't see any stitching. Great work.
Fribourg really looks beautiful. Both in terms of architecture and its nature surrounding. Well done.

Bravo pour la performance, il y a quelques petites imperfections mais c'est vraiment mineur.

Pour un panorama Jacques, c'est un panorama ! pas moins de 22 photographies qu'il a fallu assembler avec patience et détermination. La réussite est au rendez-vous !
J'aime cette courbe de maisons en hémicycle et tout le paysage qui se présente sous nos yeux.
Une très belle réussite Jacques.

Voilà enfin, révélé à nos yeux ébahis, "le" panorama de Fribourg.
Certes, le toit de l'hôtel de ville, ou le musée archéologique, font apparaître quelques raccords difficiles. Mais le résultat est époustouflant. Sans dépasser l'impression que ressent le visiteur au sommet de la tour, tu nous offres ce qu'il ne peut admirer d'un seul regard. Un tout grand bravo Jacques, pour une photo qui fera date !

Quel fantastique panorama! Avec ce 360°, la vue est imprenable. J'imagine le boulot de raccordage pour le résultat. La perspective en "V" sur l'alignement de maisons à gauche et la courbure qui se prolonge vers la droite offrent un effet fantastique. Dommage que la compression dégrade la qualité. Mais j'imagine l'originale...Bravo, Jacques.

PS : Vous n'avez pas été tenté de prendre les photos avec le Sony?

J'avais l'idée aussi de monter au sommet de la tour pour faire un panorama mais je n'avais pas imaginé le problème des tours. Félicitations pour la patience et la qualité de réalisation.

Je suis de Fribourg et ca fait qques temps que je me disais que ca serait joli comme photo, ben plus la peine, elle est là ;)
