Photographer’s Note
Yesterday a small group of TE members and their families met up to enjoy a rather wet day on the shores of Lac Leman. Rain prevented our planned walk through the vineyards, and any ideas of sunshine or icecream were replaced with a warm fondue indoors. Nevertheless, spirits were not dampened and towards the end of the afternoon the rain even eased for a short while to allow a stop and a few photos in the village of St-Saphorin. This pretty terraced village is well known for its wine and forms part of the Lavaux region which was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site last year. Despite the rather black horizon, the flashes of lighting and the imminently more rain, for a few brief moments the lighting and colours were still pleasing. Minutes later the rain started up again and we ran for cover.
Thanks again to our organiser and TE friends for a fun day together.

Hi Susanna
Was this after we separated ?
In any case the light is actually very pretty and I like how you composed it with the strong lines of the vinyards and the water sandwiching the village.
Can you believe today everything was so clear ? We could see details of the houses opposite.
Regards
Nikki

Salut Susanna,

Hello Susanna,
Seems you had a nice meeting, although the weather was not perfect. But for great images it's not always needed that the sun is out. You have here a nice example of that in bringing natural looking colours alive without any sunshine at all. Depth and warmth are combined in this photo with lot's of clarity and sharpness.
Very nice light you have here...i like that.

Salut Susanna,

bye!

and it's always nice to see the extra pictures of a TE meeting:-) Olá Susanna, if you asked me, I would say it was a nice day because this is quite pleasing. The view is fantastic and although the lines of these vineyards make the photo, the tower and other hill in the distance also contribute much for the beauty of the picture.
regards,
ricardo
