Photographer’s Note

Back again to the Flon which is really beginning to become a photographers' paradise - well for those who like contemporary architecture. This decoration is on the Flon Esplanade and thankfully the sky was already blue and waiting to be polarized.

Retour au Flon qui commence à devenir un paradis pour les photographes - plutôt pour ceux qui aiment l'architecture contemporain. Cette décoration est sur l'Esplanade du Flon et heureusement le ciel était déjà bleu et attendait de se faire polarizé.

Hey there nicky, The POV is great, however architecture is not my type, but that doesn't mean I don't like it ;)

The exposure and colour balance here is superb. The polarizer filter is a "must" for those blue skies. However the contrast level over sky in PS does a good work too.

Hej Nikki,
A fine reapeting pattern made of the little decorations. The off white colour toward the blue sky is really nice indeed. I like the fct that yo composed it the diagonal way. Perfect for a c.p-filter :).

Hahaha, I like it how you say 'The sky was already blue and waiting to be polarized'. :-) Yep, the white triangles and blue sky work perfectly together!! Very nice combination.

definitely looks like photographers' paradise, especially for tilt and diagonal freaks like me :) love the polarized sky, and how the triangles are repetitive enough to create a hypnotic patterns, but with enough variations not to become boring. very nice :)
