| The Areuse river runs through the forest of Boudry in the Neuchatel region of Swtizerland. Over many thousands of years the flow of the Areuse has worn a deep gorge into the rocks. Now the gorge is a beautiful natural park preserve with wonderful hiking trails affording views of the cliffs, cascades and wildlife. |

Hi Sandy ,Difficult to resist this one its a beauty, the huge moss covered rocks are such a contrast to the soft white water ,lighting and colour just right. Thanks Tom.

Great capture of the water and those rich and deep colours and textures. I love the overall impact. The balance in the composition is superb
Hi Sandy,
The fingerprint doesn't really show all the little details and variations on green tones that this river view offers. Carefully chosen viewpoint, and greaat looking flow of water with long exposure.
Kari
Hello sandy. The moss and lichen in green with good contrast is just brilliant in this stream. Well done and have a great weekend. Best regards. Jusni
Sandy,
This looks like an excellent location - a fast flowing river and great moss covered rocks- who could ask for more?
There are one or two difficulties, however, which highlight some of the common difficulties with this type of shot. The overall green cast, probably from an innacurate white balance reading, and the excessive highlight "white out" on the left of frame.
Nevertheless - I'd return for some more!
Regards
Colin

Sandy,
I really like the allmost monochromatic green of this picture.
The moss covered rock is partly cut off the frame.
The little branche is distracting.
