Photographer’s Note
This was shot very close to where I shot yesterday's upload, but early in the morning. The early sunlight was just grazing the tops of the mountains but wouldn't make it to the valley floor for several hours. This was lucky for me as I wanted to capture the subtle colours of the fallen larch with its light covering of frost. Too much light would just overwhelm the scene...

Hello Julian,
The "semi-square" format is completely adapted to this beautiful well colored landscape.
It emphasizes very well your composition of the photograph.

Hi Julian,
I'm amazed that so few people have commented on this photo, the colours are great. Really nice and subtle at a great time of day to capture the subject with the cold blue light.
Thanks for showing, regards
Lee
