Gorges de l'Areuse - 2
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Following on from yesterday's posting is this, also from the Gorges de l'Areuse. I made this image at the point before 'The Narrows', where the gorges closes in to a width of just 3m. This is looking downstream, towards Boudry and I chose B&W film to make the most of the tones and textures of the rock and rushing water. A long shutter speed allowed me to simplify the chaotic torrent. |

Ciao Julian
Je trouve que l'eau est trop nuageuse, et manque de mouvements.Et le contraste un peu dur.
Ciao

Hi Julian,
as far as I can tell the result you delivered here is simply stunning. The b&w enhanced even more the timeless beauty of the compo, with the silky effect of the water which might be seen as misty fog running through the stones and adding a lot of charming. Great job indeed!
Thanks for sharing this.
Warm regards,
Igor

Hi!
I had unforgivably missed this one! Once again, you did a great job, hauling your chamber there!
Result: I think the movement of the water is stunningly rendered, and the contrast is excellent, yet full of details. Must be great to see printed *BIG*!
TFS,
Olivier
