The scene was predicted well before my trip to Switzerland. As usual I look at pictures ( On the web ) taken in places I intend to visit.. Lucerne was on the agenda, so it was natural that the famous wooden bridge would be part of the new series. From a good vantage point, this view was really great, and I felt my hear beat faster.

I know this place quite well but I have never seen it from this POV before... I wonder where you took it from? The inclusion of the mountains as backdrop is fantastic and the pink evening sky together with the lights on the bridge make for a well balanced and pleasing exposure.

What a wonderful picture of Lucerne! I was there in the 2005 winter and just loved it!
You have nicely captured some symbols of that city, but what I most like is the Pilatus in the background (I couldn't see it by the time I was there)!
TFS - Congratulations!

Hello Izzet Bey,
You are to corect to have your heart beat faster, your photo does make my heart beat faster. The view is absolutely splendid, and as far as I know you for picking the best povs to present a place and make a photo. The composition is needless to say textbook of the kind you have written, with details that are superb, and it goes without saying, with absolutely wonderful colors.
Best personal regards. Salvator.

merhaba izzet bey

The blue hour impression is not very impressive here, quite early and without decent lighting on the landmarks, actually the star of your image is the Pilatus, and what makes this picture impressive is the original PoV giving the Pilatus its superstar status between the landmarks. so you're currently visiting CH after preceding me in France, any chance you visit that metropolis that counts on the Rhine, I mean Basel ?
Have a fine stay in the Milka country, JY

Hello Izzet, how are you? Fine vantage point indeed to take in the classic motive of the Luzern "skyline". Very nice how the bridge provides a leading line into the frame, and how together with the double church spire there is a good framing of the grand mountain range rising in the back. Nice evening mood rendered with the reflected lights on the water.

Quite romantic view with nice purple evening hue. Kapellbrücke works well leading eyes into the picture. And higher than usual viewpoint gives good attention to the Pilatus mountain.

A very well planned composition indeed :)
I love the warm lights on the overall blue scene, with old buildings and a snow-tipped mountain... can't go wrong with such a subject.

I remember this place so very well while visiting it over 10 years ago:) I could dream only about taking such photo then:)
Very good POV and timing. During blue hour it looks really interesting. The lights and great background create very nice atmosphere here.
I like it a lot! Thanks for reminding me this place.
