Photographer’s Note

The second week of our trip was based in Saas Fee, which involved a lot of rain, not many photos, and a stressful week of navigating the hire car through the tight turns of the Alps on the opposite side of the road.

This one was taken at the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, inside an underground ice cave featuring ice sculptures.

In this shot you captured some unique lighting.
The blues are really a beautiful hue, and the sillouettes are well captured, despite the difficult lighting.

Black versus blue with a golden touch on top of it. It's a great one Brendan. Looks like they are inside of a freezer. Or it could be cryptonite. Composition is so good, but the colors - specially that electric blue - are really mesmerizing. Like this one a lot!

Another nice and atmospheric shot, this orange stripe is great... I might go to Zermatt this winter, wanna see it, I've been there an afternoon 20 years ago or something, I don't clearly remember how it looks like...

WHat a gorgeous light ! the blue is so intense. happily you can escape from outside into the inside of the mountains to take some "dry" pictures ;)

Hi Brendan,

If you'd told me it was a hidden society living 1 km under the earth, believing that there was no life left above ground, I would have believed it as well... Well, almost..

But the picture is very SciFi. I don't really know why. It's just an eerie feel that I get looking at it, mainly due to the well captured light. Well done.
