As well as foreign languages, I love seeing police as well (I even wanted to be one until I figured I was probably too shy).

Despite this photo, there wasn't a big police presence at the parade, and there didn't need to be, compared to a party in Australia or London there didn't seem to be any trouble at all.

Hello Brendan -

This is an interesting documentary image showing us the behind the scenes, as it were, of the street festival. IMO, the image looks to be under exposed and not very bright. For a B&W image to really work there needs to be a good range of tones from black to white something this image seems to lack. I do like the depth to this image and the Polizei stenciled across the back of the police uniforms.

No offense, Brendan but for "one0ff" upload as in the current (though perhaps changeable) system on TE, back views of cops don't cut it... yu need to shoot them from the front, even if you use your hip to get the shot. Not enough "drama" here, man... See what youre trying to do though...

other than this seeming a bit dark (though not sure if that might be my internet cafe screen), this is cool shot man. Seems like a lot of cops doing nothing at all. I thought it was japanese businessmen from the thumbnail (with the orderly walking in one direction).

Any reason you processed it with so little contrast?
